More information about Alto Estate Red Blend 2018

The Alto Estate Red Blend pours into the glass with an impressive color and impresses with its deep dark red hue and light violet shades. A wonderful bouquet unfolds, revealing fresh floral and fruity notes accompanied by a slightly earthy undertone. The red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Cabernet Franc (29%), Merlot (18%) and Petit Verdot (3%) is a true masterpiece in terms of taste. ALTO Wine Estate

Alto is a farm with a rich history that lives up to its status as one of the most iconic wineries in the Western Cape Winelands. The first title deeds date back to 1693, but it was not until 1919 that the farm was fully dedicated to viticulture. Alto stretches along the steep northern slopes of the Helderberg and for nearly a century has built a reputation as one of the most respected red wine producers in South Africa.
