The Babylonstoren Sprankel Cap Classique sparkles in the glass in a light straw yellow with a green rim. Thanks to its four years of ageing on the lees, the sparkling wine scores on the nose with rich cookie and brioche notes, accompanied by lively apple and citrus notes. A crisp acidity and a beautiful perlage play around the palate. Ripe fruit aromas round off the taste experience of this perfectly balanced sparkling wine made from Chardonnay (90%) and Pinot Noir (10%). This makes the Babylonstoren Cap Classique ideal as an aperitif, but it also tastes great with fish or seafood dishes.
