More information about Bepi Tosolini Grappa Smoked
Made from Friulian Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes.
Artisanal distillation in traditional, hand-operated steam stills.
Matured in French oak barrels in the traditional cellars of the Tosolini family. The oak barrels were toasted with "Kentucky" tobacco leaves, original Italian quality, to obtain a deep and intense smoked grappa.
It has an amber color with honey reflections and unfolds on the palate with notes of velvety dried fruit, noble spices and an elegant smoky/toasted component.
Serving suggestion: serve at a temperature of 18/20° in a classic tulip glass.

Distillery Bepi Tosolini
Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg begann Bepi Tosolini in der Nähe von Udine im Friaul seine Erfahrungen im Herstellen von Destillaten zu verfeinern. Er war der erste, welcher die Destillate in mit Asche ausgestrichenen Fässern reifen ließ. Damit erreichte er daß diese weiß beziehungsweise durchsichtig und auch feinaromatischer wurden. Er gilt bis heute als Pionier für Destillate aus dem Friaul. Das jährliche auf 800 Stück limitierte Spitzendestillat, für welches jedes Jahr ein anderer Topdesigner den Dekanter kreiert, ist inzwischen legendär. Heute wird die Destillerie von seiner Enkeltochter Lisa geführt, welche mit viel Liebe zum Detail und innovativen Ideen das Erbe von Bepi Tosolini weiterentwickelt. Die mehrfach ausgezeichneten Produkte sind in der italienischen und anglikanischen Barszene zu finden.
