The Ernie Els Big Easy Red Blend shines ruby red in the glass and smells wonderfully of red berries, cassis and blueberries. Nuances of white pepper and floral tones successfully round off the bouquet. On the palate, the cuvée of Shiraz (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (19%), Mourvèdre (6%), Viognier (6%), Grenache Noir (5%) and Cinsault (4%) impresses with notes of fresh herbs and wild berries as well as its good structure and accessible character. The Ernie Els Big Easy Red Blend is therefore a pleasure on its own. The red wine, which matures for twelve to fourteen months in oak, is also a great accompaniment to dishes with dark meat, spicy foods or game.
