More information about Ernie Els Signature 2017
The Ernie Els Signature is the estate's best red wine and impresses in the glass with its dark color, which ranges from garnet to ruby red. The bouquet already reveals the multifaceted richness of the cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (5%), Malbec (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%): Aromas of cedar and some lavender play around the notes of blackcurrants, mulberries and plums. Nuances of leather and a pinch of cinnamon add spicy accents. Concentrated notes of dark fruit characterize the taste of Ernie Els Signatures, while velvety tannins caress the palate. Enjoy this long-lasting red wine, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak, with spicy dishes, game or dark meat. But you should also definitely try the Ernie Els Signature on its own.
