More information about Fairview Single Vineyard Selection Primo Pinotage 2021
The Fairview Single Vineyard Selection Primo Pinotage sparkles in the glass in a dark shade of red. The grapes used for this complex red wine made from South Africa's national grape come from a single vineyard and give the wine a wonderful aroma of raspberries, plums and vanilla. On the palate, the concentrated fruit notes are accompanied by licorice and pleasant tannins. The Fairview Single Vineyard Selection Primo Pinotage matured for eighteen months in French oak and is an excellent choice with meat dishes or pasta. Incidentally, the label features the Land Rover of owner Charles Back, who likes to set off in his car on discovery tours to look for new plots of land for viticulture. Charles Back also found the single vineyard that provided the grapes for the Fairview Single Vineyard Selection Primo Pinotage on one of these tours.
