The Holsteiner Cox is one of the old apple varieties. It was grown around 1900 in Eutin, Schleswig-Holstein, as a seedling of a Cox Orange and is characterized by its spicy, aromatic, slightly sour taste in the fresh fruit. These fine aromas can also be found in the distillate of this typical North German apple.
The apples come from certified organic cultivation.
Approx. 9 kg of apples are used to produce one liter of pure apple brandy "Holsteiner Cox".
Ideal drinking temperature: 16 - 18 degrees.
