This brand celebrates female leadership through rebellious spirit and honors the legend of Grace O'Malley as not only one of Ireland's, but the world's, most inspiring and extraordinary female trailblazers. The Grace O'Malley 19 Year Old Amarone Single Cask Whiskey celebrates Irish-Italian history.
This single malt originates from the north-east coast of Ireland and was stored there until it was transferred to still-wet casks that once housed Amarone. Amarone is a rich and intense red wine produced near Verona in Italy.
The Grace O'Malley 19 Year Old 2002/2020 Amarone Single Cask is bottled unfiltered and uncolored at 45.0% vol.
Aroma: Starts with lots of fruit of peaches, ripe raspberries and tropical fruits. There is also a hint of pastry, cream and malt.
Taste: Creamy and full-bodied on the tongue. Initially again lots of red berries and grapes as well as the impression of crème brûlée. Then spicier with malt, cocoa and spicy sweet oak.
Finish: Long-lasting with a mix of fruit, oak and caramel.
Color: dark yellow to light brown.
