Anyone who thinks that beer and pumpkin are not a dream team has not yet tried my latest creation! In honor of our apprentice Marvin, I have once again come up with a particularly crazy recipe and brewed an amber ale with a few extra ingredients. Coriander seeds, allspice, nutmeg and a pinch of cinnamon add a cozy warmth to the aroma. Together with three types of malt and the finest hops, this results in a drinkable drop with a velvety consistency, soft sweetness, warm spiciness and a full load of autumn.

Collaboration Brew with Hopfmeister: Our summery, fresh Gurken Gose combines the art of home brewing with the spirit of the American craft beer movement. Gose is a rediscovered German sour beer style, traditionally brewed with salt, coriander and lactic acid. "What goes better with this than salad?", we thought to ourselves and found what we were looking for at a cucumber farmer in Franconia. However, we had to flee to the Czech Republic to brew it, as we are not allowed to brew this specialty beer at home.
Taste: fresh, gherkin, sour
1x Pickle David Gurken Gose Eisbock - 0.33 l | 10.2 % vol.
Our anniversary brew is a strong Eisbock that we have brewed from one of our craziest beers. May we introduce: Pickle David, the world's first Gurken Gose Eisbock! To avoid an unpleasant appointment, you can turn yourself into a cucumber. However, I tend to choose the cucumber shape when there's something to celebrate. And luckily, you don't need an exoskeleton made of rat legs to attend a party as a pickled cucumber with an infectious laugh and the face of a good-humored master brewer.

Brewery Hertl
Brewmaster with heart and soul in the smallest brewery in Franconia - David Hertl is currently Germany's youngest brewmaster and beer sommelier, as well as a budding wine sommelier. At the age of 22, he completed his master craftsman training before subsequently supplementing his further training as a beer sommelier on a part-time basis. In 2013, he went into business for himself and opened his own brewery, Braumanufaktur. He discovered his passionate interest in brewing as a teenager. His first beer experiments in his mother's kitchen led to the former pigsty on his parents' farm being converted into a miniature brewery. Today, the charismatic young brewer already produces around 80 hectoliters of the finest beer on 80 square meters, and the trend is rising: a new brewhouse and further equipment are to boost production strongly, as demand for David Hertl's barley juice specialties...
