More information about La Motte Vin de Joie Rosé 2023
La Motte Vin de Joie Rosé pours into the glass in a light salmon pink and smells wonderfully of melon, grapefruit and nectarine. Slight undertones of candy floss lend the bouquet a sweet note. On the palate, the cuvée of Grenache Noir (78%), Mourvèdre (15%), Shiraz (6%) and Cinsault (1%) delights with a pleasant acidity, fruity nuances of nectarine and its long-lasting freshness. La Motte Vin de Joie Rosé is therefore a treat for the palate on its own, but the rosé also goes perfectly with salmon, trout or salads. The name of La Motte Vin de Joie Rosé is reminiscent of the winery's French heritage, but also stands for the biodiversity of the Cape Winelands: the joy in the name stands for the Serruria Florida, a plant that is also known as the "blushing bride" thanks to its delicate pink coloring.
