More information about Marten civet fire
The Zibarte, or "Zibärtle" as it is also affectionately called, is an almost extinct wild plum native only to the Black Forest. The bluish-purple fruit resembles the mirabelle plum, but is somewhat smaller, and quite bitter and tart when fresh. In smell and taste, the Zibartenbrand can hardly deny its kinship, but is not as elegant, but a bit more rustic and stony. Just a brandy for connoisseurs and connoisseurs.
