Winemaker Jean-Pierre Venture: "We named this cuvée after our ancestors, the winegrowers, great-uncles and grandfathers. Mourvèdre and Syrah come from old terraces in the Hérault, Carignan from very barren terraces from the Tertiary period. All of these terroirs are characterized by a high proportion of rolling pebbles and small yields (25 hl/ha), which produce a powerful and elegant wine."
Two noses for wine: "The cuvée of Syrah (40%), Mourvèdre (30%), Carignan (20%), Cinsault (10%) impresses with a complex nose, mineral attack (leather, smoke), balsamic notes, menthol, jam (blackcurrant, blackberry) and spices (pepper, cinnamon).
Fleshy, elegant, harmonious, soft tannins on the palate, supported by a long, fresh and mentholated finish!"

Mas de la Séranne
Named after the adjacent range of hills, Mas de la Séranne is located in Aniane, 30 kilometers northwest of Montpellier. In 1998, we decided to return to Languedoc and change our professional life. Everything had to be built from scratch, but our enthusiasm for vines and wine remained unchanged. Our initial estate consisted of only 5 hectares. Over time, we have grown steadily, adding other small plots of land. Now we have about 16 hectares at our disposal. Intoxicated by the beautiful location, we embellish our winery more and more every year, among other things by enlarging the dry stone walls or by establishing Mediterranean plants.
