Together with their friends Ewald H Kuk and Sander Rotmensen, the brewery has created a beer called Doing Good, from the proceeds of which one euro is donated to the Waldpiraten for every bottle sold The style of the charitable brew is based on the so-called Altbierbowle from the far north: A pale Altbier is chilled with a whole truckload of freshly harvested strawberries This process results in a juicy, gently malty, refreshing drink that tastes great, especially now in summer
Due to its tangy fruitiness, Doing Good can also be used as a wonderful base for summer cocktails
