More information about Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2022
The grapes used for the Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc come from 40-year-old vines and produce a complex white wine that pampers the senses with its fruity aroma of quince, yellow apples and peaches. Spicy and mineral tones round off the bouquet perfectly. On the palate, notes of stone fruit and peach are particularly noticeable, surrounded by a hint of nectarines, apricots and lemons. It is the incredibly fine texture and balance in particular that make Raats Old Vine Chenin Blanc so exceptional. This makes the white wine, half of which matures for eleven months in French oak, a culinary highlight on its own. However, you should also try the wine with fish, seafood or a mild curry.
