Roders American Oak Aged Gin

In the past, gin was stored in oak barrels, which gave it amber to old gold tones and the nuances and aromas of fine roasted wood.

Later, gin was bottled directly from the distillation plant, giving it a transparent appearance and a characteristic juniper aroma.

At La Clandestileria, we return to the origins. With two variants of Gin Roders, we bring back to life the flavors, aromas and colors of yesteryear and create the "single bottle" concept through the Oak Master method of organic maturation. This achieves a particular complexity in the distillate, softening the juniper aroma while allowing other wood-derived notes such as vanilla, caramel and roasted spices to emerge.

Maturation in American oak produces aromas of coconut, coffee and cocoa, with a sweet entry and fewer tannins than other types of wood.
