The Meerlust Rubicon is a complex cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, which shimmers in the glass in a dark purple-red hue. The aroma of violets, ripe plums and cedar pampers the connoisseur's senses, accompanied by fennel and licorice, which provide intense spicy aromas. This iconic red wine is full-bodied and well-structured on the palate. Dark fruit and well-integrated oak notes, paired with pleasant tannins, make the Meerlust Rubicon a real treat for the palate. Enjoy the red wine either on its own or serve the red wine, which has matured in oak for 18 months, with game, cheese or dark meat.
