The Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé shimmers a beautiful salmon pink in the glass and smells wonderfully of strawberries, accompanied by floral tones. The sparkling wine is also fresh and fruity on the palate, with notes of raspberry sorbet balanced by a crisp acidity, while the fine perlage pampers the senses. The cuvée of Pinot Noir (77%), Pinotage (22%) and Pinot Meunier (1%) underwent second fermentation in the bottle and is a wonderful aperitif, but the Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé is also a good choice with seafood or a fruity dessert.
