Klein Constantia Perdeblokke 2022 - White wine

The Klein Constantia Perdeblokke Sauvignon Blanc flows into the glass in a light color. Intense floral notes unfold on the nose and are accompanied by blackcurrant leaves, green figs, grapefruit and sweet melon. On the palate, the white wine impresses with its complexity and texture. The rich aromas are wonderfully balanced by a fresh minerality before the elegant Klein Constantia Perdeblokke Sauvignon Blanc finishes with a lingering aftertaste. The grapes for this unique white wine, which is only produced in years when the grapes are of exceptionally good quality, come from a single vineyard. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 200 to 220 meters above sea level on the slopes of Constantia Mountain. In the past, the soil of this vineyard was worked by horses - hence the name 'Perdeblokke'.
