More information about Klein Constantia Ugaba 2019
The Klein Constantia Ugaba sparkles a dark ruby red in the glass and smells wonderfully of blackcurrants, lavender and spices. Concentrated notes of dark fruit and nutmeg unfold on the palate. Elegant and long-lasting on the palate, this full-bodied cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Syrah (36%), Petit Verdot (4%) and Malbec (3%) with its rich tannins lingers long in the memory. Enjoy the Klein Constantia Ugaba, which has matured for fourteen months in French oak, best with dark meat or savory dishes. Incidentally, the name Ugaba refers to a tradition of the Xhosa, the second largest language group in South Africa. The chiefs appointed particularly brave warriors as Ugaba men and entrusted them with the task of ensuring peace and order.
