The Stellenbosch Reserve Merlot already shows its richness on the nose. The floral scent of violets is accompanied by blackberry and mulberry aromas. Nuances of cranberries add further fruity highlights, while notes of dried herbs lend the bouquet even more complexity. The pleasant tannin structure ensures a beautiful balance on the palate and the notes of red and dark fruits are surrounded by creamy milk chocolate. Enjoy this red wine, which has matured for twelve months in French oak, on its own, but the Stellenbosch Reserve Merlot is also a wonderful accompaniment to spicy dishes, roast duck or fillet of beef in a red wine sauce.
