More information about Tequila Terralta Reposado
Tequila Terralta Reposado is based on the Tequila Terralta Blanco and has been aged for another 3 months in lightly toasted bourbon barrels, as can be seen from the subtle barrel coloration.
Just like the Blanco, it tastes very lively and clear, but naturally gains some aromas from the bourbon whisky barrel: light caramel, light leather, a little chocolaty, light oak aroma, a little spicy and buttery and also a little oily overall. In the finish, you can still taste the butteriness with mild warmth and a medium-long, sweet agave flavor in the mouth. Absolutely delicious!
Some tequila aficionados even say that this tequila has typical notes of a mezcal.
Like all Terralta tequilas, this reposado is made with water from a depth of 140 meters.
