The Villiera Flagship The Clan is a special red wine, as it was produced with great attention to detail in a limited edition of just 900 bottles. The cuvée of Cabernet Franc (85%) and Carignan (15%) impresses with its intense aromas of dark berries, licorice and violets, accompanied by a hint of tobacco and oak. The red wine, which has matured for eighteen months in barriques, is incredibly full-bodied and long-lasting on the palate. You should definitely enjoy Villiera Flagship The Clan on its own, but spicy dishes with dark meat are also highly recommended. Incidentally, the name of the red wine is a tribute to the close bond between the members of the owner family Grier.
