Frentanum extra virgin olive oil. The olives for our single-variety Frentanum grow in the fertile valley of the Biferno river near the town of Larino - the ancient capital of the Frentani and other indigenous peoples of southern Italy. A unique olive variety is still at home here today: Gentile di Larino. It gives the oil its wonderfully fresh aroma of green olives, a bitterness on the palate and a peppery spiciness on the finish. The finish is full of grassy aromas and deliciously fruity artichoke notes. A delight for any fan of strong green olive oils from southern Italy!
