More information about Secret Speyside Single Malt Whisky
Speyside is the name given to the region along the River Spey in Scotland. Around 50 distilleries produce whiskies with very special characteristics here. They are mild, round and fine and only rarely slightly peaty. Speyside is home to world-famous distilleries such as Aberlour, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Glen Grant and Macallan. Whisky cask #169, which was filled in 2009, comes from one of these distilleries and was left to mature for 13 years before we selected it to bottle the second, high-quality whisky for our exclusive Einherjer Edition.
Whisky is beer with a distillation background - it is therefore not surprising that many brewers also have a soft spot for the distilled barley juice. In the Einherjer Edition, the brewers at the Wacken Brewery have put together a fine selection of first-class single malts bottled exclusively for the Wacken Brewery.
This Speyside single malt is deliberately not chill-filtered. To prevent excessive cloudiness, it has been adjusted to 46% vol. alcohol. The whisky therefore has a particularly intense taste.

Jedes Fass wird einzeln abgefüllt, wobei die einzigartigen Farb- und Geschmacksprofile jedes Whiskys bewahrt werden. Signatory steht für Transparenz: Jede Abfüllung enthält genaue Angaben zu Destillationsdatum, Fassart und Flaschennummer. Es wird keine Zuckercouleur verwendet, und die natürliche Farbe bleibt erhalten. Die Whiskys werden in sorgfältig gestalteten Verpackungen präsentiert, von edlem Pappdesign bis hin zu exklusiven Holzboxen für besonders hochwertige Abfüllungen.
