More information about Waterford Estate The Jem 2016 MAGNUM
The Waterford Estate The Jem Magnum impresses with its complexity on the nose. The terroir of the Helderberg Mountains gives the cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (48%), Shiraz (22%), Cabernet Franc (8%), Mourvèdre (7%), Petit Verdot (6%), Merlot (4%), Barbera (3%) and Sangiovese (2%) earthy tones, which are underpinned by fruity notes, cinnamon and vanilla. This richness continues on the palate, accompanied by balanced acidity and a good structure. Mineral, rich and long-lasting on the palate, this red wine, which has matured for 26 months in oak, is particularly enjoyable in a large bottle. Waterford Estate The Jem also offers culinary delights with dark meat or spicy dishes.
